Contacts in Windows Mail

Hello,

I have my contacts organized in folders (family, friends, work, etc.).  However, when I create a new message and press "To" to get contacts, they are all displayed in alphabetical order -- the folders are not available like they were in Outlook Express in Windows XP.

Has this ability to see folders after pressing "To" been removed from Windows Mail?  I would like to be able to choose a folder first before choosing an email address because some of these addresses are not used often and I would like a frame of reference ("...who needs this information to be sent from them from my kids' school..." ) where I might not remember them offhand.  As it stands now, I have to scroll through the entire list instead of smaller folders.

I checked out your link to the microsoft website.  It looks like many people miss this feature of folders of contacts after pressing "To" and that it is a known issue.  Will it be fixed...............?????

Same problem here. Although, I'm re-building my contact list in Vista and don't have too many contacts to search through.

I tried looking at Contact Groups, but adding a contact group adds all the contacts within to the To: line.

I'd say we need to post a complaint on the microsoft support forums.[microsoft.com]

Does anybody know if this feature will ever be added to Windows Mail in Vista like it was included in XP (using Outlook Express)?  According the the Windows Vista Community Discussion Groups, many of us miss this feature.
