Copy Items to a CD

Question

I have Xp as my operating system. I went to burn a cd and i did not have the option on my taskbar to the left of my window. Have no idea where it went or when it went.I can still burn with nero but it would be nice to get it back.Thanks

You should be able to just drag and drop the items you want to copy from your hard drive to your CD as an alternative.

I tried that already. If i insert a cd and click on the drive it says it is not accessible.If i try to burn using nero it works fine but you can not see it thru the twain. If you go to system it says the drive is working properly.

I think it was removed by something. Thanks

Trafficflow,On my machine if using windows to burn cd there is a function in the task pain that says copy to cd if you are in my pictures. But in copying anything from my my documents folder there is no function in the task pane for this.You have to right click what you want to copy and choose send to cd-rw drive. Hope this helps.

Problem Solved !!!!!! I went to My computer and right clicked on the Dvd/cd+rw. I went down to properties and clicked on recording.I than checked enable on cd recording on this machine and presto It worked!!!Also

you can disable automatic ejection if wanted.Found this on my own must be getting better. Thanks forum
