Copy Movies on Computer (?)
Good evening all,
Does anyone have any idea how I can transfer dvds movies onto my computer?
I have Windows Vista, Home Premium. I also have Media Player and Center, Roxio, and Real Player. None of these have instructions on how to transfer dvd movies onto the computer; only how to copy from dvd to dvd. Real player has a "sinc" for CDs but not DVD's.
As always any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Nissi1

Search for DVD to WMV and you'll find tons of tools

DVD files are very large unless you convert them as suggested by MoneyGuy, what you can do if you have disk space is to simply copy all the files off of the DVD in Windows Explorer to a folder labeled with the name of the movie, then you can play them with Power DVD or other player right off of the hard drive.
I use to do this with Power DVD, but I had to set the player to "file mode", then use the player to browse to the movie folder of choice, select the "vob" files and hit play.
Check your Private messages, the envelope at the top of this page.

Nissi1, Thanx dear.... THAT's the best prayer I have had today.
