Copying emails to a file

My family frequently sends me animated email greeting cards. I would like to save them. Does anyone know of a way I can copy them from Outlook Express to a desktop file?

With the message open in OE, click on File and select "Save As," then point the process to the folder of your choice.  You can accept the default file name (which will be the same as the Subject line in the message) or change it to whatever you wish.  It'll be saved as an .eml file that will appear as a little envelope in the chosen folder, which will open in Outlook Express when you double click it at a later time.

You can also establish a desktop folder by right clicking on a blank spot on the desktop and chosing new, then folder. With the folder and OE open at the same time, you can drag and drop and email to the desktop folder.
