Create bootable CD from Roxio Easy CD Creator Basic version 5.3.5.10

Question

I have tried numerous times to create a bootable CD from an iso image using Roxio Easy CD Creator version 5.3.5.10 (updated). My results are either an error which creates a coaster or if I am able to get all the files on the CDR, then it ends up not being bootable. I have tried following the Roxio Bootable CD instructions as well as some 'tutorials'. Same results. I'd like to see a complete tutorial from someone who has succssfully done this using my software.

I have Easy CD Creator 5.2.0. Its been awhile since I burned an ISO. I made a Ubuntu Live CD the last time I burned one. If I remember correctly. After you download the ISO; right click on it and I had an option: something like burn to CD from an ISO image. When CD Creator opens select a lower or lowest speed to burn the CD-R. Problems will occur if you burn at a higher speed. I learned this after about 3 useless CD's. I hope I remembered correctly.

Yes. Thank you. I discovered that rather than use the 'Create bootable CD' option I had to select 'Record CD from CD Image'
