I'm confused as to what your problem is. Do you mean that you have a folder open in Windows Explorer or My Computer and you want to create a new file within that folder or is there an option within WordPerfect that is giving you this issue?
Dear Weine||M: I am working in WordPerfect X3. After I had posted my question I did find that I must type the File name and type the information that is to be a part of the File and then when I have finished the information and close it the panel which asks if you want to save the document appears and I clicked on the Yes. After I did this you are asked where you want to file to be located and I clicked on the Folder icon. The File then appeared in the proper place.
I wish to thank you for replying to my post. I hope I gave you a plausible answer to your question.
