Cyberlink failure to load program

Question

I bought a JVC hard drive camcorder (Dell also sells them) which came with Cyberlink software; Power DVD 5 NE, PowerDirector Express NE, and PowerProducer 3 NE.  When I load the software it never finishes loading, it just sort of freezes.  The screen that should come up at the end which states its done and asks to restart never comes up. If I do restart a screen comes up that a program is not responding (the install program for the software) and it shuts it down.  Two of the programs seem to load and I can access them but the PowerDirector Express will not work or start, it shows that I have the program in the start menu and I have a shortcut to start it but neither will work.  I went so far as to uninstall my anti-virus program and then tried to install the programs again but it did not make any difference.  I also downloaded a trial version of PowerDirector from Cyberlink and I have the same problem, it will not finish loading and work.  Cyberlink charges to talk to anybody and there email response to questions takes 3-4 days.  I'm stuck using this software as JVC has set it up that you have to use Cyberlink software, JVC uses a file extension that is only recognized by Cyberlink software.  I love the camcorder but Cyberlink is another story.   Any help on loading this program would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem witb Power Producer after it hung on a writing project at 65%. I uninstalled Power Producer and reinstalled it from the disk and it was working again.
