DDPE, can I just remove it?

I have a brand new M4800.  Worked like a dream for 1 week.  Then, DDPE pops up, says something like 'finished installing' and the machine starts having critical issues, drivers not loading, graphics degraded, huge number of interrupts.  Almost unusable.  For some reason, the DDP items were not present in the 'remove program' dialog.  I finally managed to remove most of the DDP by the combination of CCCleaner SpecialUNinstaller, and the simple expedient of deleting the Program Files directories ( while dual booted into linux ).  [ Desperate move, since I was about to reinstall windows]

Mostly successful, machine is usable. However, I still see something from DDP looking for a biometric login option ( times out and allows me to enter a password ).  But, I now have permission issues using external USB drives.  ( I have ownership of the devices, and full permissions on all the files. )  In chasing this issue, I noticed that CmgPCS.SYS driver was attached to all my devices.

All I want is to REMOVE the DDP ... stuff from my computer.   How?
