DVD Drive already disappeared once...

I got it back by deleteing the term lowerfilters in a certain registry key.
 
I hope this does not continue.

I found on another forum a simple way to do it...

Using this

by using that link, it downloads a registry modifier wich removes the upper and lower filters without using the regedit command...

 

It's ok, I used a time ago

Thanks for the excellent advice. I saved this file to my folder called "Essential Files"
 
This will come in handy if Windows decides to go rampant again :D

I did this when I had DVD drive problems deleting the upper and lower filters, its simple enough it isn't neccassery to use the registry modifier program.
