Datasafe pop-up notification

Question

How do I eliminate the pop-up?  Clicking the Don't show this....  doesn't work.  Don't really want to delete the local backup function, just the pop-up.  Thanks, Carl

Hi Carl,

You can get rid of the message by following the steps below:

Open Task Manager (Ctrl+alt+Del)
Under the processes tab scroll all the way down and look for the file names Toaster.exe and the description should read Dell DataSafe Local Backup.
Right click on the Toaster.exe
Select Open File Location
A new window will open and it should automatically highlight a file name called Toaster
Locate the file name ToasterLauncher which should be somewhere below the file Toaster
Delete both the files permanently
Restart the computer.

This will not effect the functionality of the software. It will just disable the pop up message permanently.
