Default Picture and Fax Viewer changed after installing SP2

Question

Before my recent installation of SP2 the default viewer for the photos in my picture folders was Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.  After the upgrade the default viewer is now Paint Shop Pro.  This is a much less desireable way to view pictures and in order to view via the Picture and Fax Viewer I have to click on the selected picture, click on File, click on Open With, and then choose the Picture and Fax Viewer.  This must be done for each picture.  How do I set the Picture and Fax Viewer to be the default viewer and have it open each picture automatically?

There are at least 2 ways to go about it:

go into PSP options and see if there is an option for it being the default viewer for images and turn it off, or:
go into Control Panel>Folder Options>File Types tab and manually change each image file (jpg, gif, bmp, etc) to open in Windows Picture & Fax Viewer".

I used method #2, the Control panel>Folder options>File types, and changed the JPEG and JPG folders from Paint Shop Pro 7 to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and things are now as they should be.  As Elvis would say 'Thank you. Thank you very much.'
