Deleting Messages

One doesn't, unless one is a moderator. The closest you can come is to go to your message, select "Edit Message" from the Message Options menu above the post and delete the contents of your message.

Thank You very much...one can tell I am very new to all of this... kept wondering why the folder on my messages had a green arrow and nobody else did!!! wondered why ??? how does one "start over" without looking like a big dummy???. How do I get my messages to show a plain folder like the rest of the world???

All messages start with a plain yellow folder. When you reply to a post, the folder has a green arrow added, indicating that you have replied.

Many thanks for your explanations & links... I had requested the moderator of this forum too delete my messages as they all (5) have a green arrow..

Would like to not necessarily delete my messages but would like to delete the 'green arrow"..

Very much appreciate your help.. do you know of any good texts I can purchase???
