Dell DataSafeLocal Backup Upgrade Discount
I keep getting a popup for Dell DataSafeLocal Backup Upgrade Discount. How can I disable this message or remove it completely? I have Windows 7 64 bit OS.

I found the only way to get rid of the nagging was to uninstall it. Use Win 7's Backup and Restore instead. It will make Backups with a system image (including the Recovery partition) and allow you to make a system repair boot disk. Make sure to store backups and images on a completely separate drive.

(I am having trouble posting-could not post this message yesterday). ) I do have an external hard drive for back ups. I will investigate Windows 7 's Backup and Restore. Thanks for this tip.
I also noted that in the Control Panel Under programs that there are 3 Dell DataSafe's which are:
Dell DataSafe Local backup
DellDataSafe Local Backup-Support Software
Dell Data Safe Online
I wonder if one of these is responsible for the update popup?

Did you ever solve the problem? I just started getting this popup! VERY annoying! Did uninstalling Dell Backup work?
