Dell Dimension 8100 Upgrades

Question

I was wondering what motherboard I most likely have in a 8100 Dimension from about 3 years ago, what if any limitations I might expect in upgradability for ram. I have 256 ram right now in the form of 2 128 mb rdram sticks. Also what Video cards I could upgrade too, I have a Nvidia 32mb right now and I was hoping I could upgrade to 128 mb video card preferably.

The motherboard in your system is Dell specific it is not a board that you can get information anywhere else about.   Memory information for your system can be found at the following site.   http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dsleest/specs.htm#memory   This system should be able to support any currently available PCI or AGP video card based on the system information at the site that I have already posted.

I have the same system and also nee d mem sticks. so sounds like RDRAM . in these segment chunks.

My immediate problem is 300 gig new Ext hd and only 70 gig availble to copy to.

I have anoher internal 120 gig hd. so perpaps a bios upgrade to let me at it all ?

Is there a motherboard upgrade to slap the latest in a  8100 dimension slot ?
