Dell Driver update program keeps telling me to install drivers already installed
I went to Dell's Drivers & Downloads page to see whether there were any updates for my Inspiron 1545 laptop. Dell listed 14 drivers and various other upgrades to be installed. I installed them all. However, when I go back to this Drivers & Downloads page, it tells to install the very same items I just installed.
What is happening here?

Are you sure it's telling you to install them or just listing what is available? Usually, when you access the Dell downloads using your service tag number it just lists the drivers for the hardware that was on your PC when it was delivered. It doesn't mean ANY of them are updates, just what is available.
If you access the Dell downloads by your PC model number it will list all the drivers for all the hardware for the PC including optional hardware, but it does not mean you need all of them.
