Dell Picture Studio Image Expert causing problems

Question

For a short while now, I have been having trouble bringing up a picture with Dell Picture Studio--Dell Image Expert.  Not that I ask it to bring it up with that software, but it is installed on the XPS 400 we got a year ago.  It wants me to insert a disc---and there are no discs with this computer other than the McAfee.  When I try to get out of that box, I get an error 1706 telling me that no valid source could be found for product Dell Picture Studio--Dell Image Ixpert.  The Windows Installer Could Not Continue.  At one point there is a box with a 1 in it.  Finally when I get out of all the boxes, the picture will come up at some point.  What is going on and how can it be fixed?  Like I said, there is no CD at all.

Right click on a picture file you want to open and select 'open with' then 'choose program'  now you can choose another program to open pictures with, I use the 'windows picture and Fax viewer' myself  then tic the box that says 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' and hit OK.. You can change this at any time by repeating the steps..
