Hi Colinablitt,

Thank you for the information. After analyzing the attached log file it seems that the issue is with the video driver. I would recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the video drivers. Please paste the screen shot of ‘Device Manager’ with ‘Display Adapters’ expended. You may follow the steps below:

  • Press ‘Windows’ key + R on ‘Desktop’ screen.
  • Type ‘devmgmt.msc’ in run box and press ‘Enter’.
  • Click > sign next to ‘Display Adapters’.

Hi Colinablitt,

You may completely uninstall Dell Stage including ‘Dell Music Stage’ and ‘Dell Photo Stage’ from Control Panel-> Uninstall a Program. You may reinstall a fresh copy of Dell Stage from ‘My Dell Downloads’. Please refer to the link: http://dell.to/13ohWGF.

I have done that.  Second time with a reboot before I downloaded new copy.

Please share with me if you are getting any error message while installing the Dell Stage. Alternately, you may create a new user account and check if Dell stage is working in the new account. Please refer to the link: http://bit.ly/VNSBTb.

No but I got an error message which I have on a word document when I opened a new user.  Is there any way to attach the word document?

Hi Colinablitt,

You may save the word document in a zip file and then follow the steps below to attach the file and send it.

  • To reply click on 'Use rich formatting'.
  • Click ‘Insert Image’ icon (refer to the icon in black box in the image below)
  • Once you click on the icon, a window will open. Click on 'Browse' to browse the image. Once the file is uploaded, click on 'Insert.

Aha that would make sense.  I have changed the video card and therefore installed a new driver.  I will reinstall.  Many thanks for your help to date.  I will be back
