Dell image Expert Problems
When I click the link to open Dell Image Expert it gives me an error message that says "Error Opening Database: 2000".
I've only had the computer for 2 1/2 months and it worked fine until two days ago. I use that software all the time so I'm frusterated now.

From Jasc knowledge base. They own and support Image expert
The Error you are experiencing may be due to a corrupted Database file Image Expert uses. To resolve this issue it will be necessary to delete this file.
1. Close Image Expert
2. Click Start > Find > Files and Folders (in Win 2000, XP, and ME, it will be Start >Search > For Files and Folders)
3. In the Named field type in ixdb.mdb
4. In the Look In field make sure you are searching your entire hard drive
5. Click the Find Now or Search Now button depending on your operating system
6. Once this file is located right-click it and choose Delete from the menu
You can now close the Find window and start Image Expert again. This should resolve the issue.

I tried what you had suggested and I still have the problem.
Any other suggestions?

I'm a first time forum user. It's probably bad etiquette for me to reply like this to your reply to somebody else's problem to ask for help on mine but I can't see where else to post this. Please excuse my error.
My problem with dps im exp is that I can't email the pictures in my albums stored in it. My outlook express email's the text but not the pictures. Sincerely, Coastl

Hi,
I am having exactly the same problem as the very first person on this message. If I try to open Dell Image Expert I get a message saying "Error opening database: 3028"
I've only had this computer a couple of says and its always been like this - has anyone managed to figure this problem out yet? If so I'd be really grateful if you could share the solution.
Thanks a lot
