Diskeeper won't run since installed MacAfee firewall, security, which came with Comcast

Can NOT figure out what is wrong with my Executive Software Disk keeper which will not run. This happened after I installed the Mac afee security products which came with Comcast high speed internet.
Any help?

If you were running an antivirus product on your computer PRIOR to installing the McAfee products, you need to remove one of them immediately.  You cannot have two antivirus programs resident in memory.

 Rick, thanks for the help, however perhaps you misunderstood. I had Macafee anti virus, and then I just added the other security system. stuff when I got Comcast- firewall, security, identity, etc.

  The diskeeper is the DEFRAG program made by Executive Software and that is what suddenly will no longer work. since I added MacAfee

Any suggestions?

If a firewall is part of your new security suite, see that Diskeeper is listed as authorized for internet access otherwise, by the design of the software, it cannot function.  As a side note, it is not actually accessing the internet...without going into a long description suffice to say that to run, DK Services must access a port and to do so, a firewall must grant it access.
