Drivers and Downloads won't scan in Support Assistant

I purchased my XPS 15 7950 recently and downloaded all the device drivers and software applications 3 weeks ago. When I click on 'Run now', the application doesn't run and almost immediately it states an 'Unexpected error occurred'.  Is this because nothing needs upgrading as I loaded device drivers and software so recently? Or is there a problem with my new laptop?
