Drivers required for Studio XPS 435MT running Windows 7 64bit?

I'm trying to do a manual re-installation of windows 7 on my desktop as I don't have a factory restore point to work from. I think I've worked everything else out fine from other posts in support pages but I'm having issues figuring out which drivers I'm mean to install. I did go to the driver download area and punch in my service tag etc but only 2 drivers come up for windows 7 and another 5 or so under vista and I have no way of knowing if I'm missing anything or which of those listed are correct. In addition to this everything I can see in support has a massive list of categories or drivers and the order they should be installed in but they aren't all relevant to my computer and I don't know which ones are important.

What I'm after if anyone is able to tell me is a list of drivers I need to install in what order. If any system details are required in order to answer this just ask and I can post up whatever is needed.

Vista drivers will work for Windows 7.  What is listed for your service tag should be what is needed.

Windows 7 will install some drivers however, you must install the Dell provided sound driver (for integrated audio) as non-Dell sound drivers either do not work or do not work correctly.   In general the install sequence is (1) Install Windows (2) Install Dell Desktop System Software (3) Install Motherboard chipset drivers (4) install device drivers including Video, Sound, Ethernet.    The chipset drivers are key and install many system hardware devices.  Dell does not have a list of what is required due to the customization of orders for the PC's but the listed should cover 99% of what you have.  Some of what is listed many times is just firmware updates for CD/DVD drives and those are not required for a reinstall.  If you have an optional card reader you may have to install drivers for that or an optional wi-fi then you will need drivers for that.

There is a problem with a number of service tags at present which yield an incomplete and/or wrong list of drivers.

Dell are working on this. In the mean time you will need to download the relevant drivers from all Studio XPS 435MT
