E2014T, Touchscreen not working because wrong driver

Hi all,

I have Dell E2014T Monitor on Windows 7. PC is a Medion Akoya P2502 AIO 9 with own touch function. All is fine, But since many months the Touch wont work on E2014T. My brother have the same components But he haven't problems. I had compare the driver Version of HID and USB Input. I have driver 6.1.7601.24386 and my brother have 6.1.7601.18199. Where can I get the old driver and how can I change it?

* Click my DELL-name and private message me the E2014T service tag number and 20 digit alphanumeric serial number so I can check its warranty and age
* From whom and when did you purchase this E2014T? If not purchased directly from Dell, you have to transfer it into your name

All of the E2014T drivers we provided are here. Dell does not provide the actual "touch" driver. The "touch" driver is embedded in your operating system. All you can do is find 6.1.7601.24386 driver in the Device Manager and attempt to "roll back" to a previous version.

Thank for answer. My Monitor is 5 years old, warranty is out. I cannot rollback to old driver, the Button is grey. I found the old input.inf ...18199 hid driver im System32/driverstore/FileRepository But if i will change the input.inf driver in device Manager i get a failure message. Is it possible to allready change the hidclass.sys hidparse.sys hidusb.sys or will i get a bluescreen?

Not sure. All you can do is first create an operating system restore point, then try it.
