Erroe when trying to use the Snip Tool

Question

I checked to make sure Tablet PC Options were checked.

I get the following message when I attempt to use the Snip Tool:

The Snipping Tool is not working on your computer right now, restart your computer and try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

Just a thought.  Have you changed the security level in Windows to something higher lately?

No, my security level is unchanged - I did check.  It's a puzzle.  It MAY have happened after the SP1 upgrade but I'm not sure.

Try this:

Open the RUN window and type CMD: Windows Key - R

This will open up a DOS window

Type sfc /scannow

This will check all your system files and it will take some time.

Let it finish and see if it repairs any problem files and then check to see if Snip Tool Works.

Also if you have any Microsoft Office products there should be a diagnotic repair tool that you can try and see if that fixes the snip tool.
