Error Message STOP:OX000000EA Stuck in infinite loop at NV4_disp
My Dell Dimension 2600 running xp Home and EI 7 has just come up with a problem overnight. Message is "device driver stuck in an infinite loop. Location is NV4_disp. Check with company.
STOP: OX000000EA (OX82B83DA8, OX82BFAZC0,OXF8AADCB4, OX00000001. Beginning dump of physical memory. Dump of memory complete.
I tried going back 2 days in Safe Mode but it came back to this screen and I have to turn off the machine cold. I would appreciate any help.
I was advised to move this message to this board. Since time of first message I have tried to run in Safe Mode with Networking and I had activity and was able to open but don,t know what to do now. At least I have hopes that not all is lost. Thanks for any advice.

Have you got a boot disk? (The Windows 98 one (regardless of your operating system) is most useful and can be downloaded at bootdisk.com.) Use the boot disk to start your machine with CD support.
See if you can progress from there with your XPCD to safe mode and then on to a restore point, thereafter installing a driver.

What color are the diagnostic LEDs on back of the tower when it fails to boot? If not all green, look up error code in user manual.
