Error message after closing IE7

Question

I keep getting the folling message every time I close IE7 Instruction at '0X6C371351' refereced memory at 0x00000004', the memory could not be 'read' Click on OK to terminate program Whats going on? Is the XP operating system corrupt?? thanks in advance. JL

uninstall ie7 then install it again. that might fix it.
