Zab, if the error message you encountered resembles this one "Msniasvc has caused an error in OLEAUT32.DLL", then it is possible that you are experiencing this issue because you have yet to install Dial up accelerator on your computer. To resolve your issue, please perform the steps I have outlined below.
To download the Dial Up Accelerator software: 1. Start your browser, visit http://membercenter.msn.com, and then click Download MSN software. 2. Click Install MSN Dial-up Accelerator. 3. Complete all the steps of the installation wizard. 4. After the installation finishes, right-click the MSN Dial-up Accelerator icon in the notification area to configure the software’s settings and options. You can configure Dial Up Acceleration (DUA) to operate faster over the Internet with a dial-up connection to MSN. This service uses client-server network architecture to improve data transfer between your computer and sites on the Internet.
1. Start MSN but do not sign in. 2. On the MSN Welcome screen, click ‘Connection Settings’, click ‘Location’, and then click ‘Dial Up Accelerator’. 3. Select the make changes to this location option. Click one of the following options: · None: Use this option if you do not want to run Dial Up Accelerator. · Basic: Use this option if you want limited file compression of the Web page content or graphics. This will not reduce the image quality. · Fast: This is the default setting. Use this option if you want all Web page content and images compressed to appear faster. You will notice some reduction in image quality. · Faster: Use this option if you want to compress all text content and graphics. Web pages will appear faster but will show a noticeable reduction in image quality. · Maximum: Use this option to compress all Web page content. This is the fastest DUA setting. With this setting, Web pages will not download or play music or video files. 4. Click ‘Save Changes’, and then click OK.
The above information should resolve your issue. However, if your issue has not been resolved, or is of an immediate nature, and you would like to contact us via 'live chat' support, please visit the location below.
