I think it could be a harddrive problem. Maybe even a dying harddrive. Save any important files (or all files) as soon as you can. Try posting in the harddrive section of the forum.

Yeah that is my initial thought that it is a harddrive problem, especially when I know I only have 23mb space left on it....think that might be why......
 
I have transfered some files but cant gain access to the others ones I want because I cant even get into Windows in Safe mode......I cant figure out why this is and as I said I havent changed any settings it just started happening or not as the case may be!I have heard I can still transfer them perhaps by removing my hardrive and connecting it to another desktop via cable..want to try and avoid that if possible.............

I didn't pay attention to the fact that you couldn't boot, sorry. That makes things a bit more difficult. Try running diagnostics on the drive to see if it turns anything up.
