F8 during boot, doesn't work

Regarding here : http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&docid=DSN_362066&isLegacy=true I tried to hit F8 as written, but no response, just continue to boot. I redid this repeatedly ,but in vain.

Is there a solution ?

BTW, I installed this boot manager : Plop Boot Manager - written by Elmar Hanlhofer  http://www.plop.at

All the best.

What model PC? What Operating System?  (Required on all new initial problem posts)

If the Dell Recovery Partition is corrupted or the boot sector on the hard drive has been modified it cannot be used.  As you have installed some boot manager perhaps it is modified the boot sector. Also if some other Operating System or version was installed that too will modify the boot sector and thus invalidate the Dell recovery partition.

Inspiron mini 1018 , windows 7

Sorry forgot to post this completely,my bad.

After a while , I decided to install linux Joli OS cloud.I resized C and created 15GB partition to install it. afterwards, when uninstalling, it rendered the windows patition not able to boot and wants to enter win DVD.

Strangely for me, I would use boot manager to boot the first partition to load repair wizard, and 2nd (recovery partition) to load windows. The 3rd partition  will give a boot BCD error.

I have already made a recovery image use Dell recovery software to 8GB flash drive, but 2 weeks after the purchase.

What would u suggest me to do?

What you can do is put any win 7 dvd into your system, boot off it, and select to repair your computer. It seems as fireberd was saying that your boot has been over written. If that does not work, and you have you removed all the linux, and the partition, then i would use the flash to reinstall win 7.
