After booting the Dell Studio XPS 435T, pressing F8, and choosing "Repair Your Computer", the dialog box is missing the option "Dell Factory Restore".
The documentation specifically states that the Dell Studio XPS 435T support this option, and the recovery partition seems to be present. Also, I know that I did not delete it by accident. Anyone know how to access it? Thanks much! Todd

Hi tbbiker, Another way of checking is to click on my Computer, if you see an small partition and it says D Restore, then you know its there. Try repairing it from the Command Prompt, see HERE. If that fails, then you will need to use your restore disc's. If you live in the US, you can use the online form HERE to order your disc's. If you live outside the YS, then contact your local dell support.
I am having the same problem. Did you get it to restore?
No. I read somewere on the Dell site that they did not include it on XPS systems. There reason was so people could have more control over their reinstalls...
