Failed to Delay Load Library Error...

Question

I have been getting an error every time I start my computer and every time I try to open any programs I've downloaded from the net. Can anyone help me? I've done searches but there doesn't seem to be any answers out there.

This is the error I'm getting:

Failed to delay load library mscorlib.dll (Win32 error: 193).

This program can no longer run and will now terminate.

The only option I get is to click ok.

I am also not getting my Windows updates to download. They always say they didn't install. When I click on the "get help" it brings up a screen that always says Help Topic Not Found.

If anyone can offer me any help with these problems, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Thank you for that tip!  I tried it but I'm still getting the same errors.  Is there something else I can do?

After a search I feel that the .NET Framework is corrupted. The Framework is integrated with Vista and cannot be uninstalled and reinstalled. Some people with the same error you are getting have had to reinstall Vista.
