Fatal Execution Engine Error
Everytime I start up my laptop, I get this message that says "Fatal Execution Engine Error (0x7927e03e) and I tried contacting Dell on how to fix it but their idea did not work.
I know that this problem has to do with the Dell Support part of my laptop because that does not work anymore, If I try to click on it then the message will reappear.
Then it will say "DNGen.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services"
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application. (and if I try to debug it, it tells me that I don't have a debugger.)
How do I fix this??

Go to Add and Remove Programs and uninstall Dell Support. It does little more than generate error messages so it won't be missed.

okay, I tried to do that but it would not let me. This message came up-
"Error 1722. There is a problem with windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
Then I click okay. And this message showed up..
"Fatal Error during Installation."

I get this as well, and I got the same error message 1722 when I tried to remove Dell Support.

thanks. At least you got something from them. All they told me to do was a "system restore" which messed up my iTunes library and I spent 3 hours trying to fix that.
I'll keep checking out the site too and let you know if I get anything. Keep me informed!

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I wrote Dell a nasty letter that initiated these responses from whomever that person that left me an email was.
" am NOT happy with my laptop. I purchased it back in December and I
have been having problems with it for the last 3 weeks. I tried calling
your support help line, but being that I am hard of hearing- it is VERY
hard for me to understand the people on the other end of the line. I
have tried to go to the community chat forums but there are a few other
people in there having the same problem I am having. So far, NONE of us
have been able to get results.
Ever since a few weeks ago, I have been getting a Fatal Execution Engine
Error (0x7927e03e) and the first time I called, I was told to do a
system restore. That messed up my iTunes Library and I spent 2 1/2
hours trying to fix that. It did NOT solve the problem however. So
when I went to the community forum, I was told to remove the dell
support software from my computer. I cannot even do that, it comes up
with Error 1722. There is a problem with Windows Installer Package. A
program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact
your support personnel or package vender.
How can it be that a computer not even a month old is having problems
like this? I am tired of having to deal with this and I would like
something to be done about it ASAP. If you want for me to return this
laptop and you can send me a new one, I am willing to do that but this
is unacceptable."
I also sent one to the customer service email so we'll see if I get a response from them. I think I might just send this message once a day every day until something is done on their part.

That is SO funny because I just did the same thing last night. I moved ALL my music files onto CDs and then did the PC restore. Now I am slowly putting all my music back onto my iTunes library.
I just hope that this error stuff does not happen again next week or something like that. LOL
