Firewall error: Windows Firewall/Internet connection Sharing (ICS) Service
Hi all
when I try to turn on the firewall, it says:
Windows Firewall setting cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running. Do you want to star the Windows Firewall/Internet connection Sharing (ICS) Service?
When I click yes, this is what I get:
Windows cannot start the Windows Firewall/Internet connection Sharing (ICS) Service.
I have just installed XP Service Pack 2.
Please anyone can help? I'm totally disabled with the firewall at the moment.
Thankx
CHak

Go to Start|Control Panel|Services. On the Standard tab scroll down to Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). Right-click it and choose Properties. Select "Automatic" from the drop-down selections in the Start up: box.
