Format USB Flash Drive
I am using Dell Dimension E510. When I try to Format a Kingston USB 2GB Flash Drive the "Create an MS-DOS Startup disk" is greyed out and I cannot choose this option. Why is this and how can I create a MS-DOS startup disk on the USB Flash Drive? (When I bought the computer, it did not come with a Windows XP SP2 CD but recently received a Reinstallation Windows XP CD and Resource CD). I think the Windows XP Reinstallation CD can be used as a Boot DIsk but would like to have a MS-DOS startup disk just in case my hard drive fails etc. Thank you.
