Free PC Protection Software!

Here are 3 great programs that are completely free and will help you keep your computer virus/spyware free as well as keep intruders out.

The first software comes from a company called Grisoft (http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php) and the program is called AVG (Free Edition).  Download it here:

http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php.  The software is totally free as well as the updates!  They update thier virus definitions almost everyday so they protect you from a lot of stuff.  The program is also resource friendly, which means it won't slow your computer down.

The second software is from a company called LavaSoft (http://www.lavasoft.de/) and the program is called Ad-aware.  Download the free edition here:

The last software is from Zone Labs (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/home.jsp) called ZoneAlarm.  This is a free firewall.  This basically puts a barrier between your computer and the internet.  This may take some setting up but is useful if you don't have a router.  You can download zonealarm here:

Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware are a MUST.  If you don't have any such programs already installed please take advantage of these free downloads.  These are all ligitimate offers, so please do use them.  The firewall is nice to have but not needed for must users.  If you feel safer with it then by all means go ahead, it will protect you from intruders.
