Getting a test machine just bought to work with Windows Server 2012 / Drivers Issue.
I don't really feel like typing this all out again, but I put all the information I have over in the intel forum: http://communities.intel.com/thread/33512 which basicall explains m problems and inability to get hard drives or controllers installed, and it ends with horrible performance.
An ideas and I would be truly indebted.

You know, a while ago, a new feature was implemented, called copy/paste that might have helped you from having to retype that whole post :)
Which model OptiPlex?
How many physical disks?
RAID?
I'm sure you realize that a Server OS on a client machine is not supported ... it usually works, but is not guaranteed to work - some devices were only ever designed for client systems. In most cases, the Windows 8 (or even Windows 7) drivers work just fine, although you might be able to find drivers specifically for Server 2012 if you go to the various device manufacturers' websites (Intel, Broadcom, etc.).

So, were you not able to install the OS at all? From the sound of the above quote, I would assume not ... if not, how far are you getting and what kind of messages are your receiving?

I am actually quite sorry now that I think about it, just a link was not only lazy but quite rude as well, here is the information I supplied. It is an optiplex 7010, it has 2012 Server on it. We were going to run Raid but decided not to so right now we have a 1TB drive we are using for the Host machine, plus the virtual machines, then we have 2 seperate 256 SSD which we have the virtual hard drives installed on which manage our database files. Here is the output of the machine.
I am trying to setup windows 2012 on a new Dell Optiplex as a test system to do Hyper V with, but it seems like I am unable to find a lot of the drivers.

Now I was able to get most of the drivers installed, USB 3, but for some reason the 6Gbps drive maxes out at 1Gbps and during copies it locks the whole machine up, not only that, but it slows down over time until the transfer is practically crawling. It also doesn't recognize I am even running an eternal Video card, and I am not even sure what else it is not recognizing, but there are some serious issues.
I will paste some other information here to try and help you understand the hardware I am using..

LIke I said, it is understandable that it would be difficult to find drivers. Where exactly are you stuck with this project? Which drivers are you looking for?

Well, I am having problems with hard drive speeds and it also doesn't even recognize that their is a secondary video card plugged into the PCI-Express slot, so I am thinking it is an issue with the chipset drivers, although when I try to scan it with Intel's tool, it does not find anything.
Every drive on here is a SSD except the OS drive which is still a WD Blue 6Gb[s drive, and copying from drive to drive is horribly slow, or will start out fast maxed at 1GBps for some reason, which locks the entire machine up, then it slowly goes down to about 130mbps and then other parts of the machine start responding again.
