Google Earth

What is the difference between Google Earth DirectX Mode and Open Mode?

How does one view a building as if standing in front of it?

Hi

I think the Directx mode is for Directx that is apart of windows .

And Open Mode is for Open GL that is supplied as part of your video card driver !

Any way thats how i see it.

Good Luck

I was kind of wondeing the same thing too. But I don't know how to interpret your wording.

"that is apart of windows".   Meaning apart FROM windows (different, seperate  from)

Or...   "Is a part of Windows"  (meaning an actual component of Windows).

Can you please be more clear on that?  Thank you....
