Help!Cleaned bug infections - Now explorer and DWWIN Sets and Resets in Task Manager Processes
Help!! Cleaned bug infections - Now explorer.exe and DWWIN.exe Sets and Resets in Task Manager Processes.
I have cleaned or I think I have cleaned all the infections of trojans and viruses. The virus being w32/alemod.e.dll and spyware trojan as puper.dll. Now, explorer.exe and DWWIN.exe cycle erratic in the processes of Windows Task Manager.
DWWIN.EXE pertains to Microsoft's Dr Watson which I have disabled in the registry. I have scaned with ewido Security Suite and it is virus free.
So now that the infections are gone, I have a problem with my explorer.exe and dwwin.exe cycling off and on. DWWIN.exe didn't use to be apart of my start up process. When explorer.exe cycles my entire wallpaper and start tool bar disappear and reappear. This cycling cancels any program trying to run after an icon is clicked. This makes it difficult for msconfig to run under the START/RUN command.
Does anyone know what to do?

Also, when booting I have receive an error window.....
SVCHOST.exe Application Error
The instruction at 0x7c80ac9b
referenced memory at 0x800040119.
Memory couldn not be read.
I have seen this same error message for explorer.exe too. SVCHOST is the most common since disabling Dr Watson.
I have gone into msconfig to boot in diagnotics mode but explorer keeps cycling. Cycling is when the process ends and then restarts. This would cause the desktop icons and START toolbar to disappear.
Thanks,
