Help computer will not stop trying to restart.
Hi
I put in my XP disk. ( I have a 3 year old dimension desk top ) And set the boot sequence to boot from CD on top. Restart but I get a message that says press F1 to restart or F2 to enter setup. If I hit F1 all I get is the same message. If I shut power off and restart all the box does is start get to a certain point and then shuts down and auto tries to start again. Then shuts down and cycles again.
When you set the boot sequence to CD are you supposed to have the checkmarks there next to just the CD secection or all three ? ( disket and hard drive ) Thanks for your help.

Don`t fall for that e-mail me for support, never give out private information. The board is the place to provide help so we all can see it.
