Help in upgrading BIOS for Studio 1558

Hello! I need your help in upgrading the BIOS which I've downloaded from the Update button of Dell Support Center of my Studio 1558. After downloading I found that 2 files have been downloaded viz., 1558_A12 and Win_1194. However, I've downloaded and installed the 1558_A12 leaving the other one. Do I need to install Win_1194 also? Please advise.

I asked the same question in one of the other Dell forums and was told "No" that the Win_94 does not need to be run and is a DOS file, but I'd rather have an official answer from Dell.

Did you get an email notification of this update as some of us have? It seems a bit odd that Dell would be sending emails out to notify us of updates, unless this is something new they've just started doing.

Well, I got this information as balloon popped out of the Dell Support Center from my taskbar and I've downloaded the same from that App. I'm not that expert about such matter yet just now, I've installed the other one too and it installed successfully. Yeah, its a DOS file. Thnx for interaction - but to that matter Dell should attach an Instruction file in its zip folder.

I downloaded and installed A12 from the Dell site rather than from the link in the email that I received. I agree 100% that there should have been instructions included -- either in the email or in the zip folder.
