Help removing a corrupt program?
I have a completely lifeless PaperPort 8.0 on my laptop and am frustrated in attempting to remove it. I have XP Pro SP2 and am logged in as administrator. The computer is free of spyware and viruses. PaperPort doesn't start up with Windows and isn't allowed to run in the background. It's sorry condition has no effect on any other programs or functions, so I want to avoid a reformat.
When I try to remove the program from 'add/remove programs' in control panel, I get an InstallShield message that says 'the installation was interrupted; try again later'. When I open Windows Explorer and try to manually delete any PaperPort folders, I get an XP message that says these files are protected and cannot be accessed or removed.
I read somewhere that this problem can sometimes be handled by reinstalling the program, then removing it. When I tried it, though, I got the 'installation interruption' error message again.
I'm out of answers. Do any of you have some other ideas I can try?

The uninstaller worked like a charm. Thank you!
