Home Networking Wizard Problem on Inspiron 5100, XP-SP2, BIOS Rev A31
After running the Home Networking Wizard, "My Network Places" doesn't list my computer. I assume that it never got set up for the network. I can access the Internet through my Hub and Cable Modem but can't network with the other computer because I can setup my computer for the network.
What to do?

Firewalls are the bane of networks. Try temporarily disabling your firewall and then setting up the network. If it works, you should be able to then re-enable your firewall.
