try contol-alt delete to bring up task manager. click on file- run- new task-type in explorer.exe-ok, see if this brings up the task bar. Also try to put your cursor in the area of where the task bar should be. If task bar is hidden it will then show.

that got the task manager running.. It took about 20 minutes for explorer to open. By using the task manager, I was able to get to dell support check now button. But i cant click on it to run it. Soon as i tried that my cpu usage went from 5% to 100%. I left it alone maybe itll take 20 minutes just like explorer!  Ive still have no icons on my desktop. The taskbar just blinked on for a second while i tried control alt delete...thanks for helpin..

Do you run spyware scans?Have you ran a antivirus scan latley? If not you may want to try these options if you can.If you can get on the internet you could go to this site and download this and run it.

Try going into safe mode and run spyware scans and virus scans. If you keep getting a lot of spyware you should get spyware blaster. Its free and works very well.It prevents most junk from getting in.
