How to tune up my computer?

Question

I have Spyware stormer that takes out all of the adware and spyware, but what else can I do to speed up my computer?  Is Error Guard a good thing to use or should I use something else?

Hi:

You should be aware that a reputable anti-spyware site has listed Spyware Stormer

as a suspect "rogue" program that engages in aggressive advertising, and may in fact

add spyware to your system. For details, see here: http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#products

and scroll down the list to Spware stormer.

All the freeware programs listed below (with links) are endorsed by reputable anti-spyware

websites. In particular I would recommend that at a minumum you download, keep updated,

and run on a regular basis, the programs Ad-aware SE and Spybot S&D.
