I need to reboot my computer

I have a blue screen and it won't let me reboot to the factory settings

There is no way you can restore factory settings just by rebooting. First you have to determine what is wrong. It could be a hard disk failure. If you are under warranty, contact Dell Support. If you are not under warranty, post your model computer and operating system for help here. You should always include that in your posts. Did you try running the diagnostics? Do you have recovery disks to boot to?

Reboot the computer and tap F12 immediately to get to the boot menu and select the diagnostics.
