IE Explorer 7.0 Has Delayed Display on Pages - Help

I have the new IE Explorer 7.0 and I am getting a 5-7 second delay on displaying any page. The browser just sits there blank, and then in 5 seconds, then it goes after the page. There is this 5 second delay in beginning to get the page. I have a 1.5mb cable modem so that is not the problem. My firefox browser begins going out and getting the pages as soon as I hit Go.

Is there some setting - or is this a bug in IE 7?

Searched MS site - no similar problems found.

Have Norton and Spysweeper. Dont think its an outgoing vorus scan issue.

It may be the "phising filter" checking the site.  But, I've been using I.E.7 for quite a while (a beta version before the final) and don't really notice the delay.  You can turn off the phishing filter and see if that is what is causing your delay.

My experience with IE7 is that the phishing filter delays some web sites from displaying.
