There wasn't any setting to open a new windows in IE , Advanced tab only shows ;
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
which means;
"Specifies that when you click a Web link in an Internet-aware program, such as Outlook Express, and there is already an Internet Explorer window open, the Web page appears in the open browser window instead of opening a new window."
If you unchecked "Reuse window for launching shortcuts" & clicked on a URL address in OE it would use a new window in IE.
To get IE to open a new window press Ctrl+N , hold Shift key while clicking URL link or right click on a site URL link address & select "Open in new window".
If you want a Browser to open a new window for below items ;
You can download FREE tabbed Browser called Avant, similar to IE from;
http://www.avantbrowser.com/
: Use Tools >Avant Options >New Window , "Always create a new window for" say
Options : Address box , Favorites , Search & History.
Also with Mail , "Send a Link" puts active URL address in OE body not as Attachment like IE.
Uses same Favorites & Links as IE.
Hold "Shift" key while clicking site URL link to open new Window tab.
To add URL link use Favorites > Add
To close Tab double click on it.
Paste Active URL links in Forum Replies
