It would be helpful if you post the exact error message. Spelling counts. Where does the message occur, i.e., during boot, during the dial-up process, when opening IE?
Oh sorry for the cap lock. Well the message pops up when i am Installing Road Runner. The exact message i don't remember and i forgot to write it down and i am at work at this moment but is something to do with TCP/IP. Sorry i can give more info...

This fix is for dial-up but it might restore the settings.
Give this a try. Go to Start ☞ Run ☞ type in CMD and at the > prompt copy / paste (or type) the following:
netsh int ip reset c:\tcpipreset.txt and [Enter]
