ImIServer IEPlugin

I have read the reply from Brian, but that is so complicated, I can't possibly understand it.  I have Pest Patrol, Spybot, Ad-Aware, and Norton 2005, but nothing is helping.  Is there any non complicated way of getting rid of this problem?  It is constant pop-ups, and driving me nuts.  Please help... I have Windows 98SE....
Thanks, Janski

You make it really difficult when you post a new message that is completely out of context rather than than replying to the thread you started.   To get rid of all the spyware you have accumulated on your computer, download, install, update, and run the free versions of Ad-Aware and Spybot and let these programs remove all of the garbage that they find.

If these programs don't solve the problem, go Here and follow the directions to download and run the analysis tool called HijackThis. Generate a log file, then open it and copy and paste the text of the log file in a message in the Virus/Spyware Information and removal fourm where a HijackThis expert can offer advice on how to fix the problem:

If  ImIServer IEPlugin is your problem, Pest Patrol is supposed to remove it. Related article and manual removal:
