I uninstalled my image expert and I don't have the disk to reinstall what can i do or is there a link i can go too.

Thanks for using the Dell Community Forums.

To install Dell Image Expert

Insert the Backup: Dell Installed Programs CD into the CD or DVD drive.
The Backup: Dell Installed Programs window appears.
Click Next.
Click Dell Picture Studio.
Click Install.
Follow the instructions provided to verify that the program has not already been installed on your system.
Click OK.
Click OK again.
The Image Expert 2000 window appears.
Click Image Expert 2000 to install the program.
The Welcome window appears.
Click Next.
The Software License Agreement window appears.
After reading the agreement, click Yes.
You the User Information window appears.
Type your Name and if applicable your Company Name.
Click Next.
The Setup Type window appears.
Click Typical and then click Next.
A window appears and prompts you to select Image Expert 2000 to be the default JPEG Viewer.
Click Yes.
Click Next.
The Copy program files window appears. Once the files have been copied, the Setup Complete window is seen.
Click to remove the check next to Yes, I want to view the ReadMe file now and then click Finish.
You are now ready to use your Image Expert 2000 software.

I don't have the disk is there any way that i could download the program from an online program.

If you do not have the Backup Dell Installed programs cd you should be able to get another copy by contacting technical support here:

otherwise you could download Shutterfly express software here:

http://www.shutterfly.com/downloads/features_win.jsp

It will not be the Dell version but should have most of the same features.

I need the original Image Expert software that was pre-installed on my pc.  I had purchased the upgrade from JASC and they let me download the upgrade again however it needs to see the original software installed on my machine.  Downloading the Shutterbug version will not work.

How can I get the original software and why was it not included in the cd's that came with the pc?

I ordered the updated version of Dell Image Expert to download. Anyone know how long before I receive it? I uninstalled the old one, as instructed..

I have a problem with Dell Picture Studio-Image Expert 2000.  It was working fine and the suddenly, when I click on a thumbnail for a stored jpeg file, I get a message "Can't find file ImageX.exe".  I have reloaded the software from the Applications CD but it still doesn't work.  I called Dell tech support and we did the reload again.  No help.  Where is this ImageX.exe file supposed to be?

I have the application backup disc.. HOWEVER Dell Picture Studio/Image Expert isn't on it. The Dell version of the JASC software is, but not Image Expert...
