Install Dell Media Direct problem

Question

Hi there, I am using a Dell Inspiron 9300 with Windows XP Home Edition.I have the OS already installed, but neglected to install Dell Media Direct.I have tried to reinstall Dell Media Direct from disk i have, but it wont bootup, i have already pressed f12 gone to boot menu and tried to boot from CD drive,but it just logs me in to Windows. Is there any way i can uninstall windows xp, and reload it with Media Direct,and then install Media direct ?. I have tried from the add / remove programmesbut it doesnt show up Windows XP, only shows Windows XP service pack 3 but noway to remove the OS from system. I then need to install Dell Media Experience from disk i have. Any thoughts or ideas gladly received. ThanksTrevSP - i have backed up my files and settings
